I have never stayed at a B&B and wasn’t sure what to expect. Let me say the Judge Porter House exceeded any and all expectations I had! It’s a historic building in a historic part of Louisiana with all the southern charm you’d see in a movie! The breakfast was amazing! Let me put it to you this way: I’m not a big egg person, so when I saw breakfast is what they serve you I was a bit concerned as the last thing I wanted to do was be rude and not eat what was made for me. LOL! Jackie made this dish that was a biscuit under Canadian bacon, under scrambled eggs, and some sauce lol…well….it was DELICIOUS!!!! I honestly could not believe I was eating eggs! I’m not being overly dramatic or anything! I mean every word of this. The waffles and French toast were also just as amazing! My room was cleaned everyday during breakfast with zero inconveniences to me!

A special note to Jackie! You are one of the kindest, most caring, thoughtful, and accommodating human I’ve ever met! I travel to Natchitoches once a year at this time and I will request that I get to stay at the Judge Porter House just to receive the hospitality of Ms. Jackie!

Well done Judge Porter House and as we musicians say “bravo”

lol…CUSTOMER BEWARE! YOU WONT WANT TO LEAVE THIS AWESOME PLACE!!!

Breakfast plate with eggs benedict Bearnaise topped with green onions, sliced tomatoes, and yellow grits. Creamy textures and vibrant colors.
Eggs Béarnaise is the egg entre described by Todd Stefan and is a popular second course served at the Judge Porter House. It is a freshly baked biscuit layered with, Scrambled eggs, Canadian bacon, Cheddar cheese and Béarnaise sauce, served here with a side of Sour cream grits and freshly sliced tomatoes.
