I wish I could give this place more than five stars. I have stayed in many different hotels including Marriott, Westin, and Ritz Carlton. This was my and my wife’s favorite place that we have ever stayed at. When we arrived there were clear concise instructions on how to get to our room. Walking in the room felt like we were in a different world. The smell of the historical home, fresh baked cookies waiting on us, and classical music playing in the background. The room was decorated with every little thing being through of, and nothing overlooked. Breakfast was truly amazing. The house manager and Innkeeper Jackie made us feel like we were back at my grandmothers house. The breakfast was to die for. While eating breakfast, our rooms were freshened, and a beautiful birthday cake was placed in our room. My wife and I are going to make another trip to Natchitoches just to visit the Judge Porter once again, and stay in our favorite garden room. My wife’s says that this has been her favorite birthday trip that she has ever had.
