The breakfast is amazing. Zeffie is a great host. The manager and housekeeping are great as well. Zeffie tried to make sure everyone gets the attention they need, her and her staff are very accommodating. I would go just to visit her. Rooms: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Location: 5/5 Hotel highlights

5 Star Google Review of the Violet Hill: Violet Hill is in a perfect location to all the historic downtown stores. It is a beautiful home with original furnishings and offered us a very relaxing trip. Ms. Zeffie is a great cook and a joy to visit with. We had never stayed at a B&B but we're so glad we did. The room was very spacious with a private bath with shower and claw foot tub. We had keys to the house and could come and go as we pleased.

5 star Google Review of the Andrew Morris House Posted: 10/11/2025 From: Dara LaFleur The room was large and decorated well. We had an extra little room with a couch and television and coffee pot. In the closet we had a fridge and a suitcase stand. We loved the whole house. The ladies (Ms. Sherry and Danielle) who made our breakfast were very sweet and the food was delicious, especially the cherry crisp. The patio was very nice, and the weather was perfect this time of year.

5 star Google Review of the Violet Hill Bed and Breakfast :The location is very convenient for the walk along the river.The check-in very easy, the rooms uniquely decorated, comfortable and have their own AC/heater. The location is very convenient for the walk along the river. Our room had French windows leading to a porch with the view of the Cane river. The breakfast was delicious. We had fruit in yogurt, and French toast in maple syrup with whipped cream and pecans on top
